Arrival Honor Escort
The Vietnam Traveling Wall will arrive on Wed. 7/18/18. To honor its arrival and spread awareness of the event, an escort convoy will lead the Wall through Ulster County and into the Saugerties venue. A motorcycle cadre of over 200 bikes plus law enforcement will lead the truck containing the Wall, along with an overhead escort by an authentic Vietnam period Kiowa helicopter.
The escort convoy will originate at the New Baltimore Rest Area on the NYS Thruway South (mile marker 127). Motorcyclists interested in joining the escort must be at New Baltimore South by 10:00am. Assemble at rest area on the NYS Thruway (I-87S) at 10:00am on 7/18/18:

Traffic Circle to Chandler Drive (I-587).
I-587 to Broadway eastbound.
